Thanks for that link. It looks like the only one that would work are the slotted vintage Nationals, as I need the fine pitch machine screws, as opposed to the ones for wood bodies. Unfortunately, the Republic I need them for has a phillips head. I guess I could replace them all, but at $2 a pop, that's kinda pricey. The quest continues!

Bump. Anybody else know where to get Phillips-head, fine-pitch reso machine screws?

Try MSC direct or local. IF they don't have it they can get it.

If I knew the actual size and pitch, that would work, or McMaster-Carr for that matter.

Ok, new question, anybody know the size and pitch of the aforementioned screws...?

I used to know the size but I forgot. I called National a few years ago to get a solution for the stripped threads on a used Tricone I bought and Don Young was very helpful. I bought the screws directly from him.
Or call Resophonic Outfitters. That $2.00 might be for a set of 9 screws. Janet Davis shows the SKU number, NCS-306 as a set of 9 supplied by Beard.

Ken, all the other screws at Reso Outfitters are sets, so I don't think they are charging 2 bucks a screw for the vintage Nationals.

Yes, good point Bob. I did finally managed to get a response from Frank at Republic resonators, and he said he would send me some replacements, so it's all good. Thanks for everyone's input.
